Also VW credit is showing on my account and that account does not belong to me. That account belonged to my sister XXXX XXXX who signed for that vehicle & was responsible for the payment. In addition, that account is old & was opened in XXXX.

VW CREDIT XXXX has violated my federally protected consumer rights to privacy and confidentiality under 15 USC 1681. As a reporting agency that has assumed the role of assembling and reporting information on consumers such as myself, the FCRA requires that it is done so in a manner that is fair and equitable. VW CREDIT XXXX, ILLEGALLY obtained personal and private information and sold it to other reporting agencies, including XXXX, XXXX and XXXX. I did not grant VW CREDIT XXXX permissible purpose to obtain the information and report it, nor did the debtor. I have not been notified that this information is being provided to the highest bidders.
As the consumer and natural person, I am invoking specified remedy and make the following demands : - Cease and desist reporting of the VW CREDIT filings to all consumer reporting agencies.
- Remove reporting of the VW CREDIT XXXX filings from all consumer reporting agencies.
Ignoring this Cease and Desist will be evidence that the infringements were willing, deceptive, and in violation of the FCRA.

Initially purchased a vehicle from the XXXX XXXX XX/XX/XXXX and on day one configured the automatic payment on this account. ALL Payments had been made automatically and no issues were ever reported on the account. XX/XX/XXXX I changed my banking institution and updated the payment information on their XXXX XXXX, received a confirmation email indicating that changes had been submitted. 31 days later I received a call from their " Collections '' department indicating I was 2 months past due and that the account needed to be brought current. A couple hours later after arriving home I logged into the portal and confirmed what had been stated on the phone call and proceeded to manually process the payment and bring the account to good standing. I reached back out to their support team and explained what had happened and how this change must not have stored on their system when the changes were processed, I provided information about the changes and advised to send a letter explaining the issue. I proceeded to send a certified letter with all the detailed information ( All attached ) and how a system glitch caused the issue, I provided screenshots of several errors received while using their portal. I have received several letters back indicating that information provided does not suffice the removal request. They have made it impossible to communicate with them over the phone since this department only communicates via Fax or Letters. Every single reply received has been generic and with no intention to resolve this issue.

I am a federally protected consumer. Volkswagen credit and XXXX Volkswagen has violated my rights. Volkswagen Credit is a financial institution as defined under 15 U.S. Code 6827 ( 4 ) ( B ) I the consumer, have reason to believe I owe no such alleged debt ( s ) I am a natural person and original creditor in all transactions pursuant to 15 USC 1602g. I have received a statement including the subject matter of an attempt to collect an alleged debt for a vehicle. I am aware that Volkswagen Credit is a debt collector here is the legal definition. Pursuant to 15 U.S.Code 1692 ( a ) ( 6 ), a debt collector is any person who uses instrumentality of interstate commerce or the mails in any business the principal purpose of which is the collection of any debts, or who regularly collects or attempts to collect, directly or indirectly, debts owed or due or asserted to be owed or due another. I have proof labeled Exhibit A that Volkswagen Credit is a debt collector attempting to collect a debt. I am aware that the term debt pursuant to 15 USC 1692a ( 5 ) means any obligation or alleged obligation of a consumer to pay money arising out of a transaction in which the money, property, insurance, or services which are the subject of the transaction are primarily for personal, family, or household purposes. To allege means something is not proven. This debt has not been proven fact meaning it is not fact. I am aware that pursuant to 15 USC 1692k any violation by a debt collector is a fine up to {$1000.00}. I the natural person has proof labeled Exhibit A, and B that Volkswagen Credit has violated my federally protected rights 16 times. This means Volkswagen credit is liable to pay me {$16000.00}. Pursuant to 15 USC 1605 that a finance charge is the sum of all charges and does not include cash. I have proof labeled Exhibit C, and D that XXXX Volkswagen did in fact require cash in the transaction involving the vehicle.

I noticed that my standard monthly payment to Audi Financial had not been withdrawn. Due to to my entire family having XXXX, I was not monitoring my bank account as much during the month of XXXX. I logged in and looked on XX/XX/XXXX and noticed it was not withdrawn. I had tried to manually process the payment on XX/XX/XXXX. Apparently it was rejected by my bank. Not sure if the account number was wrong or what but my account has plenty of funds.
On XX/XX/XXXX Audi posted a letter in my " MyAudi '' account which I have no reason to ever check. This letter stated my payment was returned. My payment was due on XX/XX/XXXX. No phone call from Audi saying your payment is about to be 30 days late. No contact. No email to my personal email address which I always check. No phone call to let me know there was an issue. They mailed me a letter which was received after the XX/XX/XXXX due date.
It took them about 24 hours to report my account as 30 days past due to the Credit Bureaus. All 3 of them. I have emailed Audi, sent letters to the CEO, and sent letters to dispute this information.
If a company is going to be allowed to do this during XXXX pandemic for a customer who has made every payment on time to Audi over the last 3-years that is despicable. They have an obligation to pick up the phone and call me IMMEDIATELY when they see the payment returned.
I have subsequently again processed the payment due. I have never missed a payment 30 days late in over 20 years of having credit. When I have tried to process the payment I think Audi 's system is changing my account number to my bank routing number and that is why it appears the payment was rejected. Whether this is Audi 's system mistake or my input mistake one will never know. But, the truth is Audi should have immediately picked up the phone and called me either way on XX/XX/XXXX when the payment was rejected. The error could have been rectified prior to the XX/XX/XXXX date when the payment became 30 days late. They should have also shown more care for a family dealing with the XXXX pandemic and inflicted with the virus.
Audi needs to correct this issue immediately.

Dear sir/madam I am trying to file a complaint regarding a leased car. I had an incident on XX/XX/2021, I got a flat tire, i hit a curb and 5 of my airbags deployed.I tried to file a claim with my insurance company assuming i was covered, and I was informed that I do not have collision coverage on my vehicle, therefore they can not do anything about that. I obtained the insurance requirements from Volkswagen Credit and the requirements are completely different from what the insurance company issued. Even though my insurance did not meet the requirements of Volkswagen Credit, VW Credit still accepted it and the car dealer issued the car. In a normal situation, the procedure would be to force place insurance on the vehicle since mine was not sufficient, and I should have been informed by letter and a phone call regarding the force placed insurance. None of that happened, and i called the financial institution and they confirmed that no insurance was force-placed nor was i notified via letter or a phonecall. Wherever I call now, they tell me that they can not do anything about this. I have copies of the lease contract, the insurance requirements and my insurances declaration page. I contacted several government agencies, and because it's a delicate situation, they didn't know what to do.
I dont know what my next step should be, I tried all available routes to no avail.

I called Audi Financial Services in XXXX to obtain a payment deferral on my lease. They took payment to bring the account current and processed my lease extension and payment deferral ( XX/XX/XXXX ). I also received a letter from Audi that the deferral was granted ( dated XX/XX/XXXX ). 30 days later on XX/XX/XXXX I received an alert from XXXX that my credit score had dropped significantly ( 30+ points ) due to Audi reporting my lease 30 plus days past due.
I sent Audi a message thru their secure portal online. I also called and spoke with a representative who told me that their system is automatic and many individuals are in the same boat and they are working on correcting the reporting but do not have a timeline for the fix.

I had a XXXX XXXX for 3 years and vw credit. payments made perfect and on auto pay. never a issue. Then I get an XXXX. Its Vw credit or is it audi financial services, who knows. Poor poor communication.. The Truth is there the same. The dealer handled everything and we did the auto payment again.. By the way they report as Vw credit on credit report but they claim they are Audi financial services. Well The lease was getting going and I had to make the first couple payments per dealer so all the paper work would kick in then the auto pay would start. Well then I did paperless billing which is a mistake because somehow the XXXX and XX/XX/XXXX was not taken auto pay as I understood was going to happen. I didn't get any email that would have alerted me that a payment was past due. They just send a email like access to see monthly statement. No alert whatsoever. Must be saving on employees and as result poor service and communication. I regret I did there paperless because if I was getting the regular mail I could have spotted it. Now I changed it back to mail because I dont trust Audi. Then on XX/XX/XXXX I just so happen to answer some ambigiuos telemarketing call, well yep it was a robo call ( saving money on employees perhaps ) and it was audi financial service saying that I was due for 2 payments which shocked me. Whats interesting is they had my bank account information but didn't take the payments. There system and web site is very unclear.. could be a XXXX disconnect thing, I Dont know. Then I needed to call Audi and tell them its ok to make payments and I get mad why they were not auto taking the payment like I have done for past 4 years. Instead I get some arrogant know it all sounding person and then when I asked that I should not be reported late because this was there technolgy servicing failure in addition failure to communicate they refused.. Its there sales people and there technolgy that failed and failed me.. No more Audi 's or Vw ' ; s I was so mad. Cant rely on sales people, cant rely on servicing and all there passing around of financial paper and then Im the one that had my score drop 80 points because of there screwed up sytems and process.. VW credit reported on my credit. Vw credit was given FULL authorization and it worked perfectly. But they like to pay the game to say they are not VW credit instead they are Audi financial service. Well if thats the case and they are not all one then why are they incorrectly reporting a late payment that should have never happened if they were competent to my credit and handling the account ... LAZY mixed up company out of touch with a good credit never late paying client.. Foools I have disputed late payment with all bureaus and want that late removed.. I asked them for removal letter and they refused ... unbelievable company.. well they loose, no more audi or vw EVER

On XX/XX/2023, I leased an Audi XXXX from the Collection and made an initial payment regarding the lease, which included my contact information both mailing address, email and telephone. I reached out to Audi Financial Services multiple times because the website did not work and would not allow me to make any additional lease payments. I finally called and made a payment manually and asked them to set-up auto pay since I could not log-in to the portal. I never received another email or mail with any additional bills and still could not access the Audi Financial Services portal while outside of the country. Upon my return, I realized they had not set-up autopay and had reported lack of payment to a credit reporting agency ; however, I had never received a bill to pay nor could I log-in to the portal to see there were payment not being made. I immediately paid the bill and sent in an auto-pay form for future payments. On XX/XX/2023, I provided these facts to Audi Financial Services and told them to remedy the consumer report regarding XXXX payment being more than 30 days past due given I had never received any bills and had not ability to monitor or pay the bills given their website malfunction. They refused my request.

In XX/XX/XXXX, I contacted Volkswagen Financial Services to request their assistance in removing a prior credit inquiry from my credit report. My goal was to address and resolve this issue, as the inquiry is negatively affecting my XXXX XXXX and complicating my financial stabilization process. It is important to highlight that my account with Volkswagen has always been managed with timely payments, demonstrating my financial responsibility.
The original inquiry was made in XX/XX/XXXX. I am only asking Volkswagen not to wait until XX/XX/XXXX for the inquiry to expire naturally. With only XXXX months remaining, they have already observed XXXX on-time payments with no delays, further validating my positive payment behavior. Additionally, Volkswagen performed XXXX separate inquiries for the same credit application, which were reported on XXXX as " VW CREDIT '' and " XXXX XXXX. '' These duplicate inquiries generated XXXX separate entries on my credit report, causing an unnecessary and disproportionate decrease in my XXXX XXXX.
In their response, Volkswagen acknowledged my concern and informed me that, while they report account information to credit bureaus, the responsibility for disputing and correcting the inquiry lies directly with the credit bureaus, such as XXXX or XXXX. They provided me with a mailing address to send my dispute, which unnecessarily complicates the process, as I expected the financial institution, being the originator of the inquiry, to take direct action to resolve the matter.
This lack of direct resolution by Volkswagen Financial Services has unnecessarily complicated a process that should be more straightforward, considering my positive payment history and the absence of any default or issue related to my account. For this reason, I am filing this complaint with the CFPB to request assistance in resolving this situation.
