I am writing to formally request the deletion of inaccurate information on my Equifax credit report concerning XXXXXXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX. This account has already been deleted from my XXXX credit report and should therefore also be removed from my Equifax report.
According to 15 U.S.C. 1681e ( b ), credit reporting agencies are required to follow reasonable procedures to ensure the maximum possible accuracy of the information reported. Additionally, under 15 U.S.C. 1681i ( a ), consumers have the right to dispute inaccuracies on their credit reports, and the credit bureau must reinvestigate the accuracy of the disputed information.
The presence of this XXXX XXXX account on my XXXX report is a clear discrepancy, as it has already been verified and deleted from my XXXX report. I have attached a copy of my XXXX credit report reflecting this deletion for your reference.

A FCRA violation refers to a violation of the Fair Credit Reporting Act ( FCRA ), which is a federal law that regulates the collection, dissemination, and use of consumer credit information. Federal law requires that consumer reporting agencies ( CRAs ) follow reasonable procedures to ensure 100 % accuracy of the information contained in their credit reports.If a consumer suffers damages as a result of a FCRA violation they may be entitled to bring a private lawsuit against the CRA and recover actual damages, statutory damages, and attorney 's fees. Upon checking my personal EQUIFAX account, I realized that I have incorrect information in my credit report. The accounts are : XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX. There is a record of late payments and that is not correct.
According to consumer protection, EQUIFAX is violating the following laws : 1. According to the Fair Credit Reporting Act ( FCRA ), specifically sections 15 U.S. Code 1681s-2 and 15 U.S. Code 1681i.
2. Violation of the Fair Credit Reporting Act ( FCRA ) : The inaccurate reporting of these late payments violates my rights under the FCRA ( 15 USC 1666 ( b ) ), as they misrepresent my creditworthiness.
3. Potential Violation of Fair Debt Collections Practices Act ( FDCPA ) : The reporting of false late payments may also constitute a violation of the FDCPA, which protects consumers from misrepresentation regarding their accounts.
4. Truth in Lending Act ( TILA ) : I assert that the reporting practices violate the TILA, which mandates accurate reporting of credit information.
5. It should be noted that the dates on which the alleged late payments are being reported coincide with the date on which the covid-19 pandemic began, violating a very important law which is the ''The Coronavirus Aid, Relief, and Economic Security ( CARES ) Act XXXX XXXXXXXX XXXX '' The dates on which the incorrect late payments appear are described in each account as follows : XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX
EQUIFAX must respect consumer protection laws and assume its responsibility to take care of citizens and not take advantage of wanting to benefit from inaccurate information.
This is not the first time I have tried to contact experian and they have not shown any interest in resolving the errors they are making and are affecting my credit history.

To Whom It May Concern, This Is my Third written request for Method of Verification. You company has failed to provide me with this information and continue to violate my consumer and civil rights. I have been maintaining accurate logs of my letters and will file a complaint with the CFPB.
These Unverified accounts continue to hinder my ability to obtain credit. Please provide me with the information below : I demand the following Unverified Accounts be provided Physical Verification or Deleted Immediately. Please Provide Method Of Verification.
The unverified items listed below remain on my credit report in violation of Federal Law. You are required under the FCRA to have a copy of the original creditors documentation on file to verify that this information is mine and is correct. In the results of your first investigation, you stated in writing that you verified that these items are being reported correctly?
Who verified these accounts? Describe the procedure used and method to determine the accuracy and completeness of the disputed information, including the business name, address and furnisher of information connected to any in accurate information.
You need to do a reasonable investigation in compliance with FCRA section 611 part ( b ) sub sections below.
As per the FCRA : ( iii ) a notice that, if requested by the consumer, a description of the procedure used to determine the accuracy and completeness of the information shall be provided to the consumer by the agency, including the business name and address of any furnisher of information contacted in connection with such information and the telephone number of such furnisher, if reasonably available You have NOT provided me a copy of ANY original documentation required under Section 609 ( a ) ( 1 ) ( A ) & Section 611 ( a ) ( 1 ) ( A ) ( a consumer contract with my signature on it ) and under Section 611 ( 5 ) ( A ) of the FCRA you are required to promptly DELETE all information which can not be verified.
The law is very clear as to the Civil liability and the remedy available to me for negligent noncompliance ( Section 617 ) if you fail to comply. I am a litigious consumer and fully intend on pursuing litigation in this matter to enforce my rights under the FCRA. I have been keeping detailed records of each letter with certified US Mail tracking in case needed to pursue further legal action.

PERSONAL STATEMENT CFPB I am writing to dispute fraudulent information on my credit report pursuant to 15 U.S.C 1681c-2 and to request that this information be blocked. I have enclosed a copy my Police Report/FTC identity theft report ( FTC REPORT NUMBER : XXXX ) to support my identity theft claim. Under 15 U.S.C. 1681c-2 when a consumer submits an identity theft report, credit reporting agencies must block any information identified by the consumer as resulting from identity theft within four business days.
To following information on my credit report is the result of identity theft and should be blocked : XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX As required by 15 U.S.C 1681c-2, please block this fraudulent information from my credit report immediately. This information should be blocked for one year, at which point i may request an extension of the block. During the block, you may not report no longer contains any fraudulent information. Several times I have called the bureau reporting these fraudulent accounts in my report and EQUIFAX has not wanted to give me a solution to this problem where I am being totally affected to be able to acquire a new house for my children, these collections were eliminated and not verified by others bureaus I don't understand how they usually say that these accounts are mine.
I have requested contracts from this company with my information and for more than 60 days I have not received any response from them, please help me immediately delete these accounts. Here I add the FTC report, hoping that you make a better decision in my situation, thank you

I am filing this urgent complaint regarding fraudulent charges and accounts that have appeared on my credit report. I am a victim of identity theft, and unknown individuals have opened accounts in my name without my consent. Despite my repeated attempts to resolve this matter, no creditors or bureaus have provided any contracts, signatures, or proof to substantiate these transactions. The accounts in question, which include the following, were initially removed from my credit report but have since been re-reported without proper notification XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXXXXXX. These accounts were reinstated without notifying me within the required XXXX window, as mandated by XXXX XXXX. XXXX ( Validation of Debts ). This constitutes a clear violation of my consumer rights. Furthermore, these accounts have different open dates and inconsistent information across the various credit bureaus, suggesting significant inaccuracies and further misconduct. The failure to notify me of the re-reporting, combined with the furnishing of inaccurate information, is illegal under multiple provisions of federal law, including but not limited to : XXXX U.S.C. XXXX ( Fair Credit Reporting Act ), which ensures accuracy and fairness in credit reporting ; XXXX XXXX. XXXX ( a ) ( XXXX ), which prohibits the reporting of inaccurate information to credit reporting agencies ; and XXXX XXXX. XXXX, which requires timely and adequate validation of debts. Despite my good-faith efforts to resolve this matter directly, I have been met with negligence and non-compliance on the part of the creditors and credit bureaus. These unlawful actions have caused me significant harm, including damage to my creditworthiness and undue stress. I demand the immediate removal and permanent blocking of these fraudulent accounts from my credit report. Additionally, I demand a full investigation into the practices of both the creditors and the credit reporting agencies involved in this matter. If these demands are not promptly addressed, I will pursue legal action against all parties involved for their failure to comply with federal law and protect my consumer rights. I will seek all available remedies, including statutory damages, punitive damages, and attorneys fees. Thank you for your immediate attention to this matter.
