Complaint What Happened |
In XX/XX/XXXX I moved to XXXX for a XXXX XXXX after college. This was a big change and didn't have a physician, doctor or anything. So in XX/XX/XXXX I went to an XXXX XXXX in XXXX. The documents attached will give you all of the information. I went to the XXXX XXXX to find a new doctor and more information because I was trying to set up my life and all of that. Well I went to the XXXX XXXX in XX/XX/XXXX, and after two hours saw the doctor and she handed me a script and left. I decided to never go back there because it was very dirty and these places aren't too pleasant. Initially, I rarely remembered seeing the doctor. THEN TWO YEARS later I receive a medical debt collection. First I didn't remember this because I went to a new doctor right afterwards. After remembering, I was like is these even fair? I never received any bills or anything. Even when I moved all my mail was forwarded to me. I never had this problem. So instead of contacting me over the two years, they sent my bill right to debt collections. Is that legal? XXXX XXXX had my phone number and email. Then I never received anything in the mail. They never contacted me. Everyone I went to and XXXX XXXX I paid before my visit. But after two years I couldn't even remember.
