He missed the bolt on this particular swing and struck his left hand injuring his ring and pinky fingers. He suffered lacerations to both fingers requiring 10 stitches and also dislodged his pinky nail.

Narrative While drilling, the Kelly Bar was drilled down to full depth. EE climbed on the drill deck to unlock the inner steel. As EE inserted the pry bar to disengage the J-Lock, the drill operator inadvertently put the drill steel in reverse. EE's arm was pinned between the pry bar and the mast of the drill. The injury resulted in swelling and a bruise to EE's right forearm.
